MPA
The MPA (Master of Public Administration) is a graduate degree that is designed to prepare students
for the challenges of leadership and management in the public sector at local, regional, and
national levels, as well as in the non-profit sector. The MPA provides professional training
in public policy, project, and program implementation.
MA (East Asia)
The MA (Master of Arts) in East Asian Studies is a graduate degree through which most students
focus their attention on politics, economics, and societies of contemporary East Asia. Although
some MA graduates go on to pursue a Ph.D. degree, many choose to work in the business and finance
fields, or seek positions in government or international agencies.
Other Degrees/Fields
There is almost an endless list of graduate degrees that one can earn in a broad range of academic
disciplines. However, most international students who pursue graduate degrees other than the
ones previously mentioned typically focus their studies on Psychology, Sociology, Engineering,
Medicine, Law, or Education in order to become professionals in these fields.
