Through Round One’s Strategic Guidance, they proposed an application portfolio that took into account my personal preferences, test scores, and overall profile. In addition, they responded promptly not only to general questions but also to detailed checks of draft emails to admissions offices, which was an enormous help throughout the application period.
Essay Counseling was provided on a time-charge basis rather than a flat fee, tailored to each client’s needs. The approach of setting a fixed weekly session and steadily completing recommendation letters and essays according to schedule suited me very well. My essays were revised into highly polished pieces in terms of both structure and expression, while fully reflecting the characteristics of each target school. Despite my relatively low scores, I was able to pass the document screening stage at most universities, which I believe was due to the high quality of Round One’s counseling. That said, it goes without saying that the core ideas for the essays must come from the applicant; Round One refines and elevates those ideas rather than doing everything on one’s behalf.
The Interview Training was also well structured, consisting of mock interviews with detailed feedback, as well as preparation of questions tailored to each university’s specific characteristics. Even though I am not particularly strong in conversational settings, I was able to get through my interviews smoothly thanks to the level of preparation and mindset this training provided.
