Top-choice school

With the comprehensive support of Round One, I was able to gain admission to Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, which I had regarded as my top-choice school from the very beginning of my application process.

I received support from Round One at various stages, including Strategic Guidance, Essay Counseling, and Interview Training.

Strategic Guidance

Through Strategic Guidance, which began in April, I received end-to-end support that went well beyond TOEFL and GMAT study scheduling and application portfolio planning. This included proofreading emails sent to admissions offices and introductions to Round One alumni (the Round One Community) during campus visits. In particular, communication with admissions offices—especially interview thank-you emails—is an area that requires great care. Having these emails reviewed by Mr. Round not only alleviated my concerns but also saved me a significant amount of time. Even during the year-end peak of essay preparation, Mr. Round’s response time was consistently fast, which was extremely helpful.

Essay Counseling

Regarding Essay Counseling, before tackling each school’s essay prompts, Mr. Round first analyzes the questions and proposes an appropriate strategic approach. As someone with little experience in essay writing, this guidance was invaluable in helping me generate ideas. Once a strong idea emerged, Mr. Round transformed it into a highly polished and compelling essay. The fact that I was invited to interviews by nearly all of the schools I applied to—including Duke—demonstrates the high quality of Mr. Round’s services.

Interview Training

The Interview Training was also extremely beneficial and included written feedback. This feedback covers details such as voice tone, speaking speed, and the order in which examples are presented, making it possible to clearly identify areas for improvement. Through repeated interview training with Mr. Round, I ultimately became able to conduct interviews in a natural, conversational manner rather than relying on memorized responses.

A source of emotional support

Finally, the greatest strength of Round One is Mr. Round’s personality. His consistently kind and positive demeanor became a source of emotional support throughout the MBA application process, which is often filled with uncertainty and anxiety. I am truly grateful for everything he has done.

Thank you very much! Round-san.
