My long-held aspiration

Thanks to Round One’s support, I was able to gain admission to my long-held aspiration, the Cambridge MBA program. This would not have been possible without Round One’s support, and I am deeply grateful.

In addition to Strategic Guidance, I made use of essay counseling and interview training.

I worked with Ms. Round for essay counseling, and I was extremely satisfied for the following reasons.

First and foremost, her essay counseling and editing skills are outstanding.

In addition to refining my résumé into a highly readable and compelling document, she edited my essays so that they were concise yet conveyed my individual characteristics with depth. She also paid close attention to even the smallest expressions in the application forms, raising the overall level of polish. Beyond her strong track record as a counselor, these interactions gave me a high degree of confidence in the quality of the final output.

Her friendly personality

While providing appropriate and insightful advice, she always respected my own perspectives, which made our discussions both productive and fulfilling. Her friendly demeanor and sense of humor also allowed me to genuinely enjoy the counseling process, and helped me maintain a positive mindset throughout the preparation period.

Flexibility in accommodating individual schedules

I spent just under a month staying in a country different from my home base, and even during that time she was flexible in rearranging the schedule. When deadlines were approaching, she also made time for additional sessions.

For interview training, I worked with both Mr. and Ms. Round

Even those who believe they are strong interviewers should consider taking interview training. This is because (1) even if you feel you are performing well in your own mind, the actual interview may not go as smoothly, and (2) your self-assessment does not necessarily align with the interviewer’s evaluation, making it extremely valuable to understand the interviewer’s perspective and criteria (in other words, the difference between subjective and objective views). I also believe that receiving training makes it possible to prepare far more effective anticipated Q&A. In my case, the detailed feedback helped me improve both my delivery and the substance of my responses, deepen my confidence, and ultimately handle the actual interviews smoothly.

I sincerely hope that everyone reading this testimonial will, through Round One’s support, succeed in gaining admission to their target schools.
