I was introduced to Round One by a friend who had previously studied for an MBA overseas, and decided to request their counseling services.
The greatest advantage of choosing Round One was their comprehensive, end-to-end support through to admission. In addition to essay counseling and interview training, I received advice and support on a wide range of matters, including overall study-abroad schedule management, selection of target schools, proofreading emails to be sent to admissions offices, campus visit planning, and support with application forms. In particular, I found their advice—grounded in a holistic view of the entire admissions timeline—extremely helpful. Because my test scores were slow to improve, I tended to devote excessive time to test preparation and lose sight of the bigger picture. However, by considering the overall process, they were able to advise me appropriately on “what I should be doing now.” Without Steve’s guidance, I might have ended up in the worst-case scenario of spending all my time on test preparation with no time left to write essays or prepare for interviews.
In the essay counseling sessions, we worked on my résumé, defining my career goals, and writing essays for each school. I was particularly impressed by the speed and efficiency of the process. After each counseling session with Steve, I was always able to produce clear new outputs. Being able to consistently feel that I was making steady progress in a limited amount of time was very satisfying for me.
In the interview training, I received detailed feedback very quickly (Type A: within 24 hours; Type B and C: each time), which allowed me to clearly identify areas for improvement while my memory was still fresh. By repeatedly training based on that feedback, I was able to dramatically improve my performance.
The path to admission was filled with challenges, and I truly believe that I would not have achieved my current results without the thorough support provided by Round One. The excellent personalities of Steve and Emma were also major reasons why I trusted Round One.
To all applicants, I am sure you are facing many difficulties, but I believe Round One will be a strong source of support. Do not give up until the very end, and please strive to achieve the best possible outcome for yourselves.
